Help us serve our local homeless shelter! The Lamb Center is a daytime drop-in shelter serving Fairfax, VA. There are multiple ways to serve.

Picnic for a cause

Join us for a fun-filled family day on April 22 from 11:30 AM – 2:00 PM at our Picnic for a Cause!

Service Opportunities

When:

Saturday, Apr. 1, 10 AM – 12 PM
Saturday, Apr. 10, 10 AM – 12 PM

Where: 

The Lamb Center
3160 Campbell Dr.
Fairfax, VA 22031

What:

TBD, but likely organizing the food and items pantry, cleaning out the working van, and providing other assistance. You will also likely receive an encouraging tour of the Lamb Center facilities. 

Important!

Five people can sign up per Saturday. People under the age of 18 require a chaperone, but a chaperone does not count towards the group limit.

Donation Needs

Please work with your small group to choose a category and provide a bulk donation

1. Men’s and women’s underwear/boxer briefs (all sizes). Please no “whitey-tighties” or used items.

2. Backpacks

3. Move-In-Kit supplies
When Lamb Center guests move into their new homes they need basic supplies to help support their ongoing adjustments. 

How to Donate:

Preferred Method: Amazon Shipment to 3160 Campbell Dr, Fairfax, VA 22031. The Lamb Center does not accept delivery on Sundays. 

Alternative Method: Drop off donations to the Lamb Center directly at 3160 Campbell Dr, Fairfax, VA 22031.
